Kamal Haasan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is scheduled to hit by week of December. With the most successful team of Kollywood coming together, it’s obvious that the film will surely createamongst the fans. Some of the closer sources have revealed the film’s outline as the story goes this way….

The film revolves around Gopal (Madhavan) is madly in love with an actress Ambujam (Trisha). But he is really worried whether she has any soft for him. To clear his doubts, he appoints a best detective in town (played by Kamal Haasan).

Ambujam is now on a cruise for film’s shooting and the spy follows her up as on assignment and both get acquainted. Sooner, the spy’s love (Sangeetha) mistakes their relationship which in unexpected confusions. Now it’s up to Gopal to clear up the problems that is followed by a happy ending.

Suriya will be a cameo role and it looks he may shake legs with Trisha for a song. ‘Kalavani’ fame Oviya, Ramesh Aravind, playback singer Usha Utap and few others will playing important roles in this travelogue.

Kamal to hunt for Buddha's tooth?

What's Kamal Hassan up to these days? After the success of his Unnaipol Oruvan, the master actor has started the paper work on his next project. The film as we had told you some time back, will be directed by Mysskin.

Now according to local press, the film is based on the legends of Lord Buddha's tooth, which is in Kandy, Sri Lanka in the Temple of Tooth. There is a story on how Buddha's tooth came to Sri Lanka and how many people died in wars fought over it. Mysskin has based his story on this historic event, and feels it will make a good period drama.

Meanwhile the grapevine has it that Kamal has gone to US, to meet with a couple of prospective Hollywood studio bosses to fund this mammoth big budget epic. Remember some years back Steven Spielberg had an idea to make a similar epic period film based on Buddha's Tooth, with Harrison Ford in the lead?

Let us hope Kamal is lucky a third time to start a period drama after hisMaruthanayagan and Marmayogi were shelved. Unless the film is made in major languages across India, along with an abridged international version, the film will not be feasible.

Kamal Hassan, not to perform dual roles

Actor Kamal Hassan makes a strong confirmation that he would no more perform dual or multiple roles in near future. The actor, who’s much elated with the grand opening of his Friday release Unnaipol Oruvan interacted with media channels.

During this juncture, he admitted that from now onwards he will be focusing more on off-screen tasks, especially on screen writing. The actor mentioned that he had to put his earnest efforts in making the right changes in A Wednesday

to cater the tastes ofSouth Indian audiences.

Right now, Kamal Haasan

has started penning script for his next untitled film featuring him and ace filmmaker K. Balachandar in lead roles.
