Doctorate to Shahrukh Khan

Winning awards and recognition is nothing new for the 'King of Bollywood' Shahrukh Khan. However, this award is special, after all thanks to this award, Shahrukh can now call himself Dr. Shahrukh Khan.

Wondering what we are talking about? Well... Shahrukh Khan has been conferred a honorary doctorate by the University of Bedfordshire for his contribution to arts and culture. The 'Baadshah of Bollywood' was awarded this prestigious honour at a glittering ceremony in London a couple of days ago (Friday). Shahrukh's wife Gauri was also present to cheer her hubby dearest during this moment of crowning glory.

In the past, quite a few Bollywood actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and even music maestro A.R. Rahman have been conferred with a doctorate degree. Now Shahrukh joins the elite list.

King Khan will be surely beaming with joy on receiving this honour.
